Pagod ka na ba? (November 15, 2008)
Kabataan,
Pagod ka na ba sa pagseserve sa Diyos?
Naging familiar ka na ba sa paglilingkod sa Diyos?
Naging "Plastic" ka na ba sa Paglilingkod sa Diyos?
Ang paglilingkod mo ba sa Diyos ay para na lamang sa "Kailangan kung gawin to"
hindi dahil sa Mahal mo ang Diyos?
Wala na bang excitment sa buhay mo pag punta mo sa Church?
inaantok ka na ba sa preaching nang iyong pastor or pulpit ministers?
Ayaw mo na bang magsubmit sa iyong Leaders?
Yan ang mga symtoms nang "Familiarity Spirit".
at yan ay isang "Kasalanan"
The Sin of familiarity or familiar spirit is a very destructive. Ang sabi nya
ang Espirito daw nang Familiarity ay nakakapamahak, at pag sinabing
destructive.. grabe to. And this sin has surfaced in friendships, families, and
even prophetic ministries. Kalat na to Kabataan maging sa mga Churches. And ang
masama pa nito ang sabi "It is usually "hidden" beneath pseudo friendships and
loyalthy. In other words... YOU WON'T SEE IT COMING! (it takes the Holy
Spirit to reveal it to you). Even when the time of Jesus, this Spirit has been
working. Remember KKBs, It is very important to identify root issues, deal with
them and establish healthy boundaries in all areas of life. Dapat iwasan natin
ang Spirit na ito. Remember we are SERVING the GOD THAT IS ALIVE and this God
called us to be LIGHT AND SALT OF THE WORLD.
Do you know why the World doesn't fade? according to the Science... The Earth's
salt areas covers 73% out of 100%. That is the reason why the earth is
preserved.
And who are we? Sino ba tayo? ang sabi sa Bible we are the LIGHT and SALT of the
EARTH. Ang sabi sa Matthew 5:13 "We are the Salt of the earth." Pero hindi
nagtatapos dun. ang sabi "But if the Salt loses its saltiness how can it be made
salty again?" And once we lost our saltiness... that's the Familiar Spirit. And
you know why Jesus said that? Because He knows that there are many Christians
who will loses its saltiness in the end of times.
Ask yourself: Am I one of them?
These are the stages of familiarity Spirit of Christians
Stage 1. Committed - Siyempre mag-uumpisa yan sa Committed Muna, and as
as an advice.. we should stick in this stage. How can we retain in this stage?
1. Pray - Remember that the God that we are serving is a very alive God
and He can CHANGE Situations. He can do all things. And once we pray -- God
works. He gives us Power, He renews our strength... our Joy of our salvation.
2. Reading the Bible - There is this word "Rhema" If you already memorize
the Bible.. just read it again and again and God will speak to you and gives you
a new revelation.
3. Share and Witness - Declare God's Goodness in your life. Remind
yourself of all those "ANSWERED PRAYERS" The times God provided for you, God
made a way etc.
4. Go to Church - Every Sunday, EXPECT God will do something in your
Life. Expect Changes. Ask God for a change in your Spiritual, in your Life, in
all Aspect! Ask God for something NEW. Sabi Sa Bible... everyday is a new day..
a new start.
5. Serve God because you Love God - Not because your crush is there or
because 'its your responsibility' Serve God because you Love God and because He
has done a lot in your Life.
And then.. when the Spirit of Familiarity starts to work... these are the
following stages:
Stage 2. Casual - The dictionary defines casual as "Irregular, slight,
superficial, careless etc..." in other words "Plastic"
If you are serving God na wala na sa puso mo.. you have to repent. And if Casual
is not being corrected, it will come to the next stage.. your situation will
become worst
Stage 3. Cynical - "Sarcastic" "Sneering" "Denying sincerity"
"Questioning Motives" in other words "Murmuring, Complaints, Unsubmission,
getting sympathy to others"
Darating tayo sa stage na, we will think that the Church will not move without
us. Darating yung stage na you will question the leadership, you will get angry
once you were corrected, you will focus on the negative side... you will be burn
out, you will lay-low, you will forget that you are serving The Living God not
others.
(And do you think God deserve this?)
and if corrected but never submit or do not want to be corrected--your situation
will be definitely worsed.
The last stage: Contempt - Meaning "SCORN" "DESPISED" "DISRESPECT"
"REBELLION" that will cause you to be disqualified to the CALL of GOD.
And this is definitely the manifestation of full blown pride, and Pride is the
root of familiarity.
And I would also want to share you about "Setting your boundaries"
Pag sinabing "Boundaries" - it is a personal property line that marks those
things for which we are responsible. So which means we have to evaluate and we
have to guard ourselves...
So what are the boundaries we need to set?
1. Emotional Boundaries - Deal with your Emotions.
How?
1. Be Teachable - Always accept Corrections
2. Respect your leaders - Kahit matagal ka na kung leader mo siya, respect him.
Kung bumalik ka (and you were a leader once) and there are new leaders that God
raised, respect them. Because it was God who raised these leaders.
3. Do not look at the past - forget what happen
4. Do not ask sympathy to others - Huwag kang kumuha nang kakampi
5. Do not rebel, Do not murmur, Do not complain.
6. Be Humble
7. Do not assume negative things - Huwag magtampo sa mga leaders dahil hindi
lang kayo napapansin.
8. Most especially: Love GOD above all - once you love God, God will fill your
hearts and you won't need to look for someone to love, you won't even think of
Boyfriend and Girlfriend. You will be satisfied. I am telling you KKBS.. God's
Love is very Beautiful.
2. Mental Boundaries - Limit your freedom when it comes to Church
How?
1. Trust your Leaders - They are accountable to all of you.
2. Submission - Obey first before you complain.
3. Do not mock anyone - Do not laugh when someone commit mistakes. Instead of
thinking "He is not Good or She is not good" tell yourself, "It was God who put
him/her in that position I have no right to question it"
3. Spiritual boundaries - Depend on God / ask God to help us distinguish His
will from our own
How?
1. Godswill - in what aspect? (in BFs, GFs, plans, ministry etc.) He has Plan
for you, your future (Jer 29:11)
2. Desire to serve God wholeheartedly - Always ask God to break your heart and
then mold your heart into what He wants you to be. Apart from Him, we can do
nothing. Sabi nga ni David, "Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit
within me"
3. Do not mock God - Cause God cannot be mocked. You cannot lie to Him, He sees
everything.
4. Physical Boundaries - establish who may touch us
How?
1. Choose the people who associate with
2. Ask advice from Spiritual leaders
3. Be careful of what is coming out of your mouth - it manifest.
A famous Preacher once said, "Kung nakakaramdam na kayo nang Familiarity in your
walk with God... It's time to repent, to pray and to fast... Remember that the
Spiritual realm is a battle between spirits... spirit that comes from God... and
the spirit that comes from satan.
The Spirit of familiarity doesn't come from God; it comes from satan. And if you
KKbs, heard this trumpet but ignored it... The ending of your Christian Life is
a disqualification from your calling..
Now ask yourself.. Do you want to be disqualified?
Before I end up... I remembered a Short story about a man experimenting a 2
groups of Children to play in a yard with no fence and they were so insecure,
they were scattered.. they have freedom but this freedom hurt them a lot, some
got bruised, some fell on the lake... it was a disaster.
And the other group, they were in a fenced area, you think they don't have
freedom? but they had so much fun and they began to be creative, bond,
fellowship, they were relaxed and secure and they begun building a new
friendship
And the lesson that was learned by this man experimenting that boundaries are
not bondage, but they actually facilitate freedom.

KKB SBB (November 9, 2008)
We want to thank God for the tremedous move of the Holy Spirit last Sunday (November 9, 2008). Everyone felt God's presence and the KKBs were soo much overjoyed when the power of the Holy Spirit came upon them especially during "Ministerial"
KKB ER (October 29-30, 2008)
This is the Last batch for 2008. But before that, as of October 31, 2008. Bro. John Ordonez (KKB Angeles Chairman) declared that Bro. Junaidy Mulles is back in the Core Leadership. Praise the Lord! Tapos na restoration hehe but always remember what you have learned from this process.
The KKB ER (Encounter Retreat) was held last October 29 - 30, 2008 and KKB Angeles delegates had the privelage to send 11 delegates (their names?) Marvin, Nomer, Ryan, Mac-Mac, Mhelkie, Xandra, Anna, Irish, Rowen, Madelyn and Wilma. These are the 11 victororious children of God who attended the successful Encounter retreat of course with Chairman (Bro. John) and the supporting team: Bro. Elmer, Bro. Nath, Bro. Troy and Bro. Rodel. 11 delegates surrendered everything to God and now they are ready to face satan and his foes. Just continue to fight the good fight of Faith. You're more than conquerors!
At JIL Angeles Church, before going home -- Bro. John had a talk with the new
soldiers of God.

Sunday Fest (October 26, 2008)
Another Victorious Sunday Fest from KKB Angeles held last October 28, 2008. The program was titled, "Here we are Lord, Send us". The program was truly led by the Holy Spirit. Especially during the Opening Prayer led by Bro.Philip, whom he shared and we were reminded about the Church we are serving. (JIL); just as he was sharing and reminding us about this; our love for our Church became deeper and most of us felt so blessed to be a part of the JIL (Jesus Is Lord) Church founded by: Bishop Bro. Eddie Villanueva and the owner, which is Jesus Christ. Not only that, in Ministering; Bro.John challenge the KKBs to share the Gospel to their friends; because the first mission of the Christians is the "Greatest Commission" of Jesus Christ, which is sharing God's love and make disciples of all nations. The KKBs felt God's presence and as soon they felt it; some cried, some kneeled down to give reverence. God is totally awesome. He did not fail all of us. Film Showing (October 19, 2008)
With the Approval of the Holy Spirit, Ptr. Arnel Arcega and Bro. John Ordonez; The KKB Angeles had their seminar-program titled: "Demonic Symbols, Music and Backmasking". The Core leaders watched the video first at Sis.Chette's House and when everyone finished watching it, they decided to put it in the program. The CD was donated by one of the faithful and concern brother in Christ. Because the topic is very serious, the core leaders started to intercede for a week.
The program started at 2:30pm and ended at exact 5:15pm. The Program was jampacked and you can really feel the battle as the movie was being played. But of course; God won (who else?) the KKB Angeles were shocked to learn more about demonic symbols and worldly music being back masked and they started to become aware of it. There was even a youth there who was shocked he was wearing a shirt with a demonic symbol and in the end of the program; he told everyone that he will burn that tshirt. After the movie; Ptr. Arnel stood in the Pulpit (It wasn't even in the program - it was the move of the Holy Spirit), and talked more about and shared more about this. He shared to us the tragic life of the king of heavy metal (jimmy hendrix). It was like this:
He was in the concert and then he suddenly crashed his guitar. The people screamed with excitement because they thought it was in the program. Then he grabbed the microphone and told everyone, "If anyone of you here, knows the way of true happiness and peace and how will I obtain it, please meet me in the backstage after the concert" He was talking about Salvation and Peace; But no one approached him, and the next day he was found dead.
There was also a quote from the movie that really strike into the hearts of the youth: "If you want to change the society, Do it with Music. Music can transformed a generation: Be it Good or Bad" (para-phrasing). And Also Ptr Arnel told us that there were people who tried to backmasked Christian Music and they only ended up hearing the voices of angels.
After Ptr.Arnel spoke, he gave the Microphone to Sis.Bheng (Intercessor) and after a few words of Encouragement, Bro.John went to the pulpit and started to encourage the KKBs. Everyone were crying. Then, suddenly the Holy Spirit told Bro.John to minister. Sis.Bheng started to pray for the youth while she told the leaders to minister to the youth. Everyone was crying, they fell down on their knees. Everyone came back to the heart of worship. After that, Sis.Bheng & Sis.Lhen performed the small skit called "A letter from hell". It was really intense and it was indeed a wake-up call to all of us.
Then after the Victory, Bro.John testified of how good our God is. When he pointed at me (sis.chette) and told the people that I knew all of this because I was once before a servant of the dark; my tears suddenly fell down because God reminded me how He transformed my trash life into a wonderful life. Truly KKBs, once you surrender everything to God.. He'll change your Life for the Best. After that, Bro.Lito De Guzman (JILAC JAM Head) shared a few words of encouragement to the YOUTH and encourage them to join the VIAJAM Ministry and told them that they have to be careful in choosing music to listen.
